A crisis of faith consists not only of doubting certain articles of Christian belief, of being unable to assent to the truth claims of the Christian message. More profoundly, it is the situation in which our basic trust in life has become uncertain.
The crises of our lives are also often crises of hope. The sad things that happen to us, the death of people dear to us, illness in people we care about and in ourselves, the failure of projects with which we identify, but also the sheer repetition of daily routines, they all can have the effect of wounding our ability to hope.
Similarly, the crises of our lives are often crises of love. The failure of love in our relationships to other people can inflict wounds on our ability to love ourselves. Alternately, we discover that our love is so fiercely focused on ourselves that we are unable to relate to others.

Tina Turner sang, “What love got to do with it?” “What’s love but a second hand emotion, Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken.”
Love has everything to do with it! It is not a second hand emotion. It is suffice to say that her understanding has developed from her difficult life before becoming finally successful in her career.Her experiences had molded her prospective on life. Note her quotes:
“Why did I fall so deeply in love? I think when you haven’t had that much love at home, and then you find someone you love, everything comes out.”
“I believe all religion is about touching something inside of yourself. It’s all one thing. If we would realize this, we could make a change in this millennium.”

The English language has only the word love to describe all the affectionate experiences of men. However, there are essentially four kinds of love. The Greek language had a different word to describe each kind of love.
1. Passionate love or eros love: This is physical love between sexes; the patriotic love of a person for his nation; the ambition of a person for power, wealth , or fame.
