We all know that the Bible was written by human beings.  The human authors wrote human words with human pens.  None of the human authors was omniscient.  Yet these human writings claim to be more than mere human opinions.  Jeremiah did not preface his prophetic utterances by saying, “In my opinion,” or “It is my considered judgment that.”  He prefaces his declarations by saying, “Thus saith the Lord.”
