Lord, we lift up our souls to this morning.
Our God, we trust in you. Please, don’t let us be disgraced, as we fight against the flesh give us victory over it.
We know that no one who waits for your will be disgraced. Lord, those who are evil for no reason- they will be disgraced.
Make your ways known to us, Lord. Teach us how to walk like we should.
Make your ways known to us, Lord. Teach us how to walk like we should.
4. Make your ways known to us, Lord. Teach us how to walk like we should.
Guide us in your truth. Please teach us your truth because you are the God of our salvation. We will wait for you to teach us.
Remember your compassion, Oh Lord. Remember your steadfast love. They have always existed and always will.
But please don’t remember the sins from our past Lord, the mistakes from over the years, the rebellion in our hearts. Instead, according your faithful love, remember us because of your goodness.
God, forgive us and help us to see that our sin caught up in the blood of Jesus.
God you are good and perfect and you show sinners the way.
You lead the humble in what is right and teach them your way.
Father, all of your ways show faithful love and truth to those who love, trust, and obey you.
Lord, for the sake of your name, forgive our sins. There are many and we confess them to you now.
What should our lives look like for you, God? We know that you will be faithful and guide those that are in your family.
Those who fear you will live well, a life that pleases you.
Father please help us to live this way so that we can know you. Help this church to live out your gospel in a way that you show yourself to us, and we see the mysteries of our relationship to you.
Keep our eyes on you, God, since we know you are our protector.
Turn to us and be gracious, because we know what it means to be lonely and to be afflicted.
Please relieve the hurt we are carrying, the pain in our hearts, the cost of sin that we bear.
God, can you see our pain? Can you see our struggles? Forgive all our sins God.
Honestly, sometimes we can feel like you aren’t here when we are fighting. We fight against our own sins of pride and greed and lust. We fight against unbelief and anxiety. We fight against evils in the world, forces and even people that hate us.
Father, we ask that you would guard us from these fights, strengthen us and rescue us. Please God, don’t let us fail and be put to shame. Instead, help us to trust in you as our refuge.
May our integrity and and conviction for what is right keep us company as we wait for King Jesus to return.
God, save your people from all evil. Come quickly.
In the precious name of Jesus,
Amen.
