4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Gods love and mercy
God is rich in mercy and love.
what is Mercy :is benevolence, forgiveness, and kindness in a variety of ethical, religious, social, and legal contexts.
He saved you Vs 5
YOU have been saved : protected delivered ; to make whole.
that's where dead in transgressions comes from Jesus makes us whole.

Grace is the key to your salvation

During the Spanish-American War, Clara Barton was overseeing the work of the Red Cross in Cuba. One day Colonel Theodore Roosevelt came to her, wanted to buy food for his sick and wounded Rough Riders. But she refused to sell him any. Roosevelt was perplexed. His men needed the help and he was prepared to pay out of his own funds. When he asked someone why he could not buy the supplies, he was told, "Colonel, just ask for it!" A smile broke over Roosevelt's face. Now he understood--the provisions were not for sale. All he had to do was simply ask and they would be given freely.
You can earn it or buy it, it’s not for sale.
its so exclusive you can’t even brag that you did it because only Christ alone can save you.
we are Created in Christ Jesus to do Good works!!!
