Ephesians 6:21–24 ESV
So that you also may know how I am and what I am doing, Tychicus the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord will tell you everything. I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts. Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible.
Uplifting Encouragement
Tychicus is sent with a specific purpose
-Not simply a messenger, but he was sent with a Godly mission to encourage the church at Ephesus
b. A call to be encouragers
-Through faith we can encourage others and be encouraged by God working though others.
-God uses our story/experiences to build up people around. us
2. Grace And Peace
-Paul gives a closing, but there is so much more
a. Both come from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
b. Experienced through Faith in Jesus.
i. General revelation
Romans 1:19–20 ESV
For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
ii. Specific Revelation
Romans 10:13 ESV
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
3. Incorruptible Love
a. God loves completely
Romans 5:8 ESV
but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
