Recap - Ordinary - Extraordinary - Go halfway
We talked about the Right plane.
God knows and have the best planes for our lives.
Don’t just dream the ordinary.
While we are busy grabbing lesser things, ordinary things, mediocre things, God is planning extraordinary things for our future.
Terah was the father fo Abraham a man who only went halfway.
God told him to go all the way to Canaan, but he reached a city called Haran and settled there.
many people are today—they’ve settled for less than God’s plan.
But the Lord is saying, “I have new plans for you.
I have new opportunities for you.
I have new people and new places and new plans that I want to release into this season of your life.”
Terah was a man who only went halfway.
God told him to go all the way to Canaan, but he reached a city called Haran and settled there.
God made you for a purpose.
He knows what that purpose is.
When you don’t know why something was made, you can easily abuse it.
It doesn’t make sense to ask the creation what its purpose is—ask its Creator.
Where You're From, Where You're Going
God made you for a purpose.
He knows what that purpose is.
When you don’t know why something was made, you can easily abuse it.
It doesn’t make sense to ask the creation what its purpose is—ask its Creator.
You may be thinking, "you don’t know where I came from, the things I’ve done.
You don’t know my family, my parents, my background".
You may think your past excludes you from God’s great purpose for your life.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Understand this: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you.”
You don’t come from a background.
You don’t come from your parents.
You may have come through them, but you didn’t come from them.
You came from God.
Your assignment can’t be messed up by your circumstances or your past.
EX: Saul before becoming Paul had a past.
reminds us,
When you were created, God encoded you for an assignment, and He gave you the power to get it done.
The enemy’s job is to pull us out of that divine assignment, out of the will of God.
reminds us,
When you were created, God encoded you for an assignment, and He gave you the power to get it done.
The enemy’s job is to pull us out of that divine assignment, out of the will of God.
The enemy keeps us busy, full of things to do.
God has the “inside information” on your life and your purpose, and He doesn’t mind sharing it.
says,
Do you have questions in your mind?
Do you wonder whom you should marry?
Do you wonder what you should do with your life?
Do you wonder if you should make that investment?
“You have an anointing from the Holy One, and He knows all things.”
Do you have questions in your mind?
Do you wonder whom you should marry?
Do you wonder what you should do with your life?
Do you wonder if you should make that investment?
“You have an anointing from the Holy One, and He knows all things.”
This means you can know things you were never educated for.
You can tap into a resource, an information source called the Holy Spirit, and you can know things that are beyond your natural education or ability to know.
The Holy Spirit is smarter than any human being on earth, and through Him you can “know all things.”
Don’t take this gift for granted.
Cultivate it through an active relationship with God and a determination to serve Him and follow His will for your life.
Do you sometimes feel inadequate?
Do you feel like where you’ve been is holding you back from where you could go?
Ask God to help you see your future through His eyes.
Open your heart to experience the depths of His great love for you and the plans he created for you.
