The alleged prophecies were first published by Benedic7nemonk Arnold Wion in 1595. Just as Satan’s goals has been to counterfeit the words and works of the true God, so will his chief emissaries on earth seek to counterfeit God on the world stage. False Elijah prophecy Malachi 4:5 “Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. 1 Kings 18:38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. KEYPOINT: Scripture points out that prophets are known by their message and their fruits, not by their gi?s or powers. Commanding That an Image Be Built This takes us back to Daniel chapter 3 – with Nebuchadnezzar’s statute. This image is likely the object Jesus’ talks about concerning the “abomina%on of desola%on” in the last days in the Olivet Discord. Paul talked about the Man of Sin or lawlessness: 2 Thessalonians 2:3-5 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruc%on, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. Do you not remember that while I was s%ll with you, I was telling you these things? Causing the Image to Breathe and Speak 12 “The false prophet is enabled (by his own master, Satan) to impart a spirit to the image, but that spirit is one of Satan’s unclean spirits, probably a highly placed demon in the satanic hierarchy.
