v4-10 Mordacai and Esther are communicating through her Eunuch about what Hamman has done.

V11-Esther is faced with a choice and wants Mordacai to understand exactly what he is asking of her. Up until this point Esther was living the life obeying the rules and I am sure she has not totally forgotten what is was like to be a normal Jew living the day to day life. But she has been in the palace for awhile and the luxuries have to have made an impact on her.

v. Mordacai gives her a reality check God is going to deliver us Jews with or without you. There is no neutral position (WOW) you either do what is right or you Perish You are placed in positions, given opportunities, not for your own benefit but for God’s purpose.
