What is a manager?

A manager is employed to take care of someones property or money.
He is not the owner but works for the owner. being a Christian means we acknowledge that God is the owner of all things including me. I am not my own for I have been bought with a price. However I’m not a robot nor a puppet. God expects me to function as a Christian in society.

Nothing makes the owner of a company more angrier than a manager who thinks the company and its resources belong to him.
He is not going to tell you what tie to put on, what socks to wear, what car to drive, what hair style you should have for He expects you to make those decisions. Ellie is 6 months old so we have to make all the decisions for her. However after awhile we will allow her to make her own decisions thats appropriate for her age.
God expects us to make decisions in life that are in line with the Word.
Genesis
God expects us to make decisions in life that are in line with the Word.
Management is all about responsibility. When we talk about management we have to address irresponsibility.
What is the definition of irresponsibility? Lacking the sense of accountability or not liable or able to answer for consequences.
When sin is confronted from the pew we often say to ourselves “I’ve asked for forgiveness now get off my back.” Many Bible believing church going Christians live a unclean life. They don’t want anyone to reprove them. That is the spirit of irresponsibility.
Irresponsible people can be flighty, thoughtless, rash, undependable, unstable, loose, lax and immoral. They can have an unpredictable, unreliable and untrustworthy character.

Were do we find the origins of irresponsibility?
Genesis 1:28 NKJV
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
genesis 1

rule over, dominate, direct, lead, control, subdue, i.e., manage or govern an entity, people or government with considerable or forceful authority

Str 7287; TWOT 2121, 2122—1. LN 37.48–37.95 (qal) rule over, dominate, direct, lead, control, subdue, i.e., manage or govern an entity, people or government with considerable or forceful authority

Genesis 3:6–11 NKJV
6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. 8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” 10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” 11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”
Gen 3:6
Genesis 3:6–7 NKJV
6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.
Just as Adam blamed Eve so we are doing the same thing. Blaming why we are at this place in life on our Past
Blaming sickness on the food industry instead of blaming our poor choices with food.
We have to take responsibility for own actions if we are going to change.
Rejecting Jesus as Lord of your life is the most irresponsible thing you can do.

There are two greek words for time.
1)In the New Testament the Greek word chronos, which means “a space of time,” refers to the marking of hours, days, months and years on a calendar.
2)The New Testament Greek word kairos is time marked for a purpose and filled with meaning. With eternal purpose.

Eph 5:15-16
Why get caught up with things that do not matter and waste your time? What profit a man to gain the whole world yet lose his own soul.

IT’S TIME

Make a quick mental list of the things you really value. Undoubtedly your list would include your loved ones, your home, your church, and perhaps a few other possessions. Would it also include your time? Paul’s admonition to live carefully, “making the most of every opportunity,” is a reminder of the preciousness of time. Think about it. If someone takes away your money, you may not like it, but you can earn more money. If someone or something takes away your job or even your house, it might be very difficult, but you can get another job or house. But if something takes your time and wastes it, you can never get it back. Those hours or days are gone, never to be retrieved. That makes time a very valuable thing indeed. What are you doing with the time God has given you? Are you “making the most of every opportunity,” allowing him to use you and your time as he sees fit?
