Intro- We are approaching our campaign time.
You have begun hearing announcements, and they will continue… For those that do not know, there will be a campaign class starting on Wednesday’s next week.
We want all to be present for each of those classes.
Most, if not all of us are aware that evangelism is commanded.
However, many fail to get personally invested in evangelism efforts.
For the next few minutes we are going to discuss a few reasons we all have to be personally invested in this effort.
Everyone you know is a sinner.
a.
Sometimes, it is easy for us to just go through life and not focus on the spiritual… and we lose perspective on the fact that every single person that we know is a sinner, and that every single person at least at some point in their life has caused a gap between them and God
Every sinner deserves death.
2. Every sinner deserves _____________.
a.
sometimes we forget what it is that we really deserve.
We try to at times, use our own standards…
That person is a really good guy.
He helps people, he is kind, he’s just a good ‘ol boy…
When we remember that there is a wage that has been earned, and that there will be a payday… It keeps us focused on our mission.
because...
Every sinner has been offered a gift.
3. Every sinner has been offered a ____________.
a.
We have all been offered something that we do not deserve.
I have received some really nice gifts in my life… Race car remote control as a kid, my wife has always given me good gifts, i’ve recieved money… Everytime ive been given a gift, I always tell someone about it.
none of those gifts compare with what has been done for me through my savior.
The world needs to know about it.
My world, needs to know what has been done for me.
Every sinner needs to hear of God’s ___________.
Every sinner needs to hear of God’s ___________.
4. Every sinner needs to hear of God’s ___________.
Every person needs to hear of God’s love.
a.
We live in a world that is hard.
That hurts, where at times it seems as if we will never understand what it means to be fully loved.
The story is told that a small boy was spotted going around town posting flyers on light posts, near street signs, peoples yards, convenient stores, everywhere he could.
One curious observer went to see what these signs were.
The sign read "missing dog, he is black with missing patches of hair, has fleas, blind in one eye, and is missing his back right leg" the observer asked the young boy, why in the world would you be looking for a dog like this?
I would think he would just be a burden to you."
The boy replied "He is my dog, and I love him."

No one on this earth loves us more than God
At times, we say that we do not want to offend or upset someone that we love so, we don’t share the Gospel.
Jesus looked at the rich young man, loved him… and told him what he needed.
Conclusion- We know that evangelism is commanded.
We see several reasons for us to be personally invested in evangelistic outreach.
The question for each of us to ask is, “How can I be more involved?”
