24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
18 And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
To gain a proper understanding of the marriage relation is the work of a lifetime. Those who marry enter a school from which they are never in this life to be graduated. {AH 105.1}
7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
Students hit the books.
Good students hit the books.
Good students go to class.
Good students get help from good teachers.
33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
