The Finish Line
The God acknowledged by Paul and Timothy is a God who calls for sacrifice, not only in OT ordinances but in NT fulfillments and applications like Paul’s “offer your bodies as a living sacrifice” (Rom 12:1). Paul has lived out this mandate over the years, which has landed him where he now sits as he writes or dictates: death row.
