Well the message title if you didn't catch it from the song that Evie Turnquist sang so beautifully.

It's unfailing love. And it's found in a scripture tucked away. One of the songs that David wrote then whether he wrote this while he was sitting on a hillside. observing his sheet for whether it was when he was in his Palace. Surrounded by all of the the glories of the state of being a king the message came to him about God's love his unfailing love the founded. The dark scripture in Psalm 130 a song of ascents it says that a song about that as you are going up to the temple as you're going up to worship. Is what David remarked as you go into the temple as you're going up the hill to Worship the Lord? This is a song that you might sing out of the depths of Despair out of my depths. I cry to you Lord. Lord hear my voice now don't you feel sometimes that you want God to hear you when you pray you're not just a sending prayers up to the ceiling but you expect you want your lord to hear your prayers Lord hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to My Cry for Mercy now a side note when you're looking at the Hebrew, but it says verse C&R scripture in English. In Hebrew, it is there's no word. Mercy, it's Mercies.

Hear My Cry for Mercy's Give many Mercies. time to meet your God That's his cry this this very day. If you Lord kept a record of sins. Lord who could stand now if we just stopped here for a moment then can't

if you Lord kept a record of sins Lord who could stand and the truth is you could not I could not. My Sims alone would bring me to my knees.

And I wanted to Bunk a thought that many of you may have been taught or may have come to believe but God does not sit up there looking for every time Dave that you make a mistake. Did it again?

Turkish did it again?

Would you throw that out of your mind? Throw it out. God does not sit up there writing down every sin that I commit that you commit. But this is a truth that when we all stand before him what is really going to count? What is written down? What he does write down is your name when you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior when you confess with your heart that he is Lord. He writes your name boldly Into the Book of Life. And when you die and when you go to heaven, he will scroll to see if your name is there but he knows nothing ever catches him by surprise. He knows. And he will indeed say as the Angels carry you from this side to that.

David welcome home. Good and faithful servant. Well done. Enter into your rest Dale. Good job. Welcome home my faithful servant enter into your rest. What county is is your name in his book?

If it's not it's not too late, but don't let it get to the point where it is too late. You simply just say Heavenly Father It's me, David a sinner in need of a savior. Would you come in and cleanse my heart clean me up read Psalm 1 Psalm 51 David cries out that person. I'm named after cried out to the Lord wash me and I will be clean. Cleanse my heart and I'll be whiter than snow. I'll be purify this I stand before you.

Burnt offerings you don't desire or I would give them Davidson. What you desire is a broken and contrite spirit. I've known to anybody before that time, but God spoken to David's life and said you asked for forgiveness. I gave you forgiveness, and I know you send David. But you asked me to forgive you and I have forgiven you and it's washed away not to be remembered anymore. praise God if you Lord kept a record, if you did of all my sins Lord who could stand David sis?

but there's that but This is the way it really is. But with you more. There is forgiveness. so that we can

with reference to serve you stand before you come into your presence turn to your neighbor and say thank God for forgiveness.

Thank God for forgiveness. I needed it. I really did.

That was the first time he says it in the song but know that he says I wait I wait for the Lord my whole being what weights. And in his word I put my hope in his word. I put my hope it's not based on what I believe. It's not based on what I've heard. It's not based on how good I am. How many times I've gone to church how much should I give to the church?

I wait for the Lord my whole being Waits. And in his word in his word I meditate. I hope I trust I find confidence in his word. But I have been forgiven and I'm Healed and I'm righteous to stand before and Almighty. Holy God. He is sent me a part for his goodness set me apart for him. That is my hope. I hope it is your hope this morning.

Again, he says it first six. I wait for the Lord you wait on the Lord. You wait patiently. When we pray God either says she has to reset snow. We understand that even children can understand that I guess and I know but when it's weight Why couldn't wait for my birthday? I couldn't wait for Christmas to come and it seemed like it took forever when I was a kid. Dorcas isn't it true that. At our age now. It flies right by it was just Christmas and now it's almost Christmas again. It was my birthday, but it's almost my birthday. Again Dale. That means I get another present night. I mean, it's like Hallelujah, but it comes so quickly.

I knew a man that I sold radio time with and California. Kfia AM 710 the light. Anda he used to tell me his mother's belief was there when you were born that the days passed so slowly and the older you get the faster time goes that when you get close to the time you're going to go to be with the Lord a day. Just snapped right by the weeks. Go racing by the years Race by the older you get the faster it goes and I thought but that's a strange. And then I thought about it. Then the older I get the more I think. That man's mother had something right there. She was right. I wait on the Lord.

Now listen to this more than the Watchman who waits for the morning. Yes. I say more than the Watchman waits for the morning. He says it twice more than the Watchman waits for the morning. Yes more than the Watchman waits for the morning. I wait on you Lord. The Watchman is waiting and watching for the morning to come in. He's watching and paste the enemy attacks. See he is keeping alert. He's keeping a vigil. Are you alert? Are you awake? Are you looking for the day when the Lord is going to come again? My friends he is coming again.

We we talked about the Advent of the Lord's birth at Christmas the Advent time. And now we're in Lent and we're looking forward to his crucifixion. And that is why he came he wasn't born in a stable just so that we could worship him and bring him gifts. He came and he was born that we might. Honor him and love him and turn our lives over for he came to die on the cross for our sins. That is why he came that is why he endured to the end. I wait for the Lord more than the Watchman waits for the morning. Yes more than the Watchman waits for the morning to come. He says again.

Israel

and we could insert right there church. Put your hope in the Lord. For with the Lord is unfailing love. unfailing love

And with him, it's full. Redemption unfailing love

listen to these words that Evie. Carlson Road

unfailing love flows from his heart and heals my soul in spite of who I am. He loves and makes me whole in spite of who I am. He loves me and makes me whole I almost can't believe it's true unfailing love and yet I know. He gave his life to give to me. unfailing

this last verse sums it up. He himself Jesus our savior will redeem Israel from all of their sins down instead of Israel. I want to read that again, and I want you to insert your name. He himself will redeem David. From all my sense. That's a promise redeem redeemed how I love to Proclaim. It Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

After World War II a few of the bombers that they had they had built for the purpose of the missions of Destruction were taken off the line. I'm service.

And they were sold and used for commercial purposes commercial service. They were called and this is fallabel converted bombers. converted bombers the converted bomber had a new owner.

It carried a new cargo. It had a new pilot and a new purpose. In our Christian conversion Jesus Christ delivers us from the old life the possessed us. And he's delivered us unto himself and he possesses our life for a new purpose. He enters into the cockpit. The cockpit of our heart to take over the controls the control of operation. Any operates not the old life but a new life and a new course for our lives as converted persons. We have a new purpose a new pilot. I didn't do cargo the love of Jesus Christ his on hailing laugh.

It is my plea for you to accept. His love his unfailing love for you this morning. But you would indeed. Allow him to come over and convert you to a new purpose a new plan. with a new pilot in control The new cargo is the love of Jesus to Bear to one another and he can do it if you'll just released control and say Jesus. I've blown it. I'm a sinner in need of a savior. Would you come in? Would you change my heart would you redeem me redeemed? Given a new purpose a new plan redeem. That's what it's all about is the change that happens in my life and it yours the family that you love and pray for Your friends your neighbors. Do they know him. Do you know him today?

Would you bow your heads with me this morning?

Lord our our eyes are closed. Our heads are bowed. There's an audience of one in that you you know us and you know us full well and you know the purpose in the plan that you have for us and it is a plan for good and not for harm. They give us a hope and a future in you as we relinquish control.
