Why does Jesus speak to us in the way that He does? (Matthew 13:10-17)
Why does Jesus speak to us in the way that He does? (Matthew 13:10-17)
Jesus speaks the way He does to cultivate the desire of those who want to hear Him.
Jesus speaks the way He does in order to confirm the decision of those who don’t want to hear Him.

In order to invest your resources in the things of God, you must withdraw them from less worth endeavors. What are you investing yourself in, that in the light of eternity, is not really worth it? Identify these areas. Make a commitment to God to replace these less worthy endeavors with those that will help you to hear His voice and do His will.
Begin to explore the three pillars of a vibrant relationship with Jesus: Reading His Word, Praying with Him, and Witnessing/Serving for Him. Prayer meeting on Friday nights at 7:00 p.m. is especially focused on how to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus through intense Bible Study and intimate prayer. If that meeting time is practical impossibility, Pastor Burrell will be glad to spend one-on-one time with at your availability.
Make a spiritual decision right now at the close of this service to invest yourself 100% in your relationship with Jesus and His work.
