imagine yourself a jew, grew up thinking, messiah would destroy, but instead died, totally different shift in perception
then paul tells us that jesus is the invisible image of the invisible god, god the father, and gods true heart for people is not to see their destruction but to see their salvation, people try and explain this away,
in the context its clear god is laughing at how bad their plans are put together compared to his, and how they will never succeed against him,
