INTRODUCTION

1 Corinthians 9:26 NLT
26 So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing.
Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.
Spirit-led living is kingdom living. Spirit-led prayer is always the most effective.
God knows the beginning from the end of all things. He knows not your very thoughts before you think them.
Hebrews 4:13 NLT
13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.
But not only does he know your thoughts, but he knows Satan's thoughts as well. Nothing is hidden from Him.

Satan can’t read your thoughts, however, he can read your reactions to the thoughts he gives you.

1 Corinthians 2:11 NLT
11 No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.
Matthew 10:39 NLT
39 If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it.

Proactive vs. Reactive Prayer

Matthew 10:39 AMP
39 Whoever finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].
Matthew 10:39 The Message
39 If your first concern is to look after yourself, you’ll never find yourself. But if you forget about yourself and look to me, you’ll find both yourself and me.
Matthew 16:25 AMP
25 For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting].
1 Corinthians 14:15 NLT
15 Well then, what shall I do? I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand. I will sing in the spirit, and I will also sing in words I understand.
