But the focus of the Psalms always is upon God himself.

Our obsession with our enemies and rivals and wrong doers in life cannot be simply switched off.
So how do we not fret about the wicked.
We refocus our attention.
So the psalmist redirect our attention to be preoccupied with the LORD himself.
Trust in the Lord
We can trust the Lord, because he has shown himself trust worthy and faithful.
Here mercies toward us are new every mourning.
His faithfulness is great.
He keeps his promises.
So we can trust.
We put our trust in far less reliable things .
Commit your ways to the Lord
Commit is literal “roll” as though you are getting rid of a burden.
Give it all to the Lord
Delight in him
that is, seek and find in him the source of happiness and joy, and not in material possessions
He promises to give you the desires of your heart: what you want the most.
But it is important to note that as we delight in Him our desires will line up with his.

Rest in the Lord/ Be still in the Lord
Be still is basically be silent.
It is the stillness of waiting, not of resting.
Waiting to hear from God and waiting on Him to move.
This includes a deliberate redirection of one’s emotion and entrusting our daily walk (school, work, social, physical, mental) and reputation to Him.
This is liberation
Be Constructive
This is put positively in v 3 .. do good and negatively in verse 8’s warning against anger and its bitter fruit.
When follow God, we follow God’s own way which is to overcome evil with good.
Our anger does not work the righteousness of od (James1:20; Roman 12:21)
Enjoy security, cultivate faithfulness .
The Lord has created us and He has saved us to do good works.
But he has saved us to do good works.

So we find complete security when we look up , look ahead, be constructive It all about living out our life being faithful to God in our living.
Be faithful to God developing us and not being caught up in everyone’s life on social meeting while missing out on your own.
We we are busy living out our life in relationship with God, we won’t have time to deal with the disappointments s from social meeting.
