Cerinthian - Denied the deity of Jesus

The Truth Defended

Jesus Christ is God - He is from the beginning

Jesus Christ is man - He had a physical body

The Truth’s Purpose

So that John’s joy could be full

Fellowship - exists in 2 planes…horizontal and vertical

Fellowship with each other is based upon our fellowship with God

Fellowship with God and Jesus Christ is dependent upon holding to the truth taught by the apostles
