Don’t misuse what is God’s
The story of job is that of a man who recognized that everything he had was not his.
He recognized that it was God’s and therefore he didn’t find it unjust for God to take it back, rather, he was thankful for God for the period that he had what he had.
-Example of the parable of the talents.
-Example: A man who lost his 8 year old son and gave a ulogy thanking God for the time that he had his son.
-It’s important that we live in a live of thanksgiving, always.
-We need to be good stewards of what God has givin us: You job, your wife, your children, your body, your health, your finances, your friendship.
Take care of them like you are taking care of something that belongs to God.
Take care of the with fear and reverence to the one who will inquire of you of how you invested those gifts.
Live a life of thanksgiving!
Note that you don’t have to be thankful for what you have earned.
You don’t say thank you for your boss when he gives you a check because you have provided a service for which you have earned something.
Don’t misuse what is not yours.
