2 Corinthians 12
I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Mr. Johnny so I won’t be able to spend a lot of time talking about his life but according to what I’ve heard I can assume he was a rather simple kinda man.
He wasn’t a very religious person but he believed in Jesus Christ as his savior.
He knew what he liked and what he didn’t like.
He like Elvis, fishing, ______________, __________________, _________________and he didn’t like any preacher who would preach Elvis into hell or anyone who scattered ashes in inappropriate places.
I must agree on the whole Elvis thing, after all I believe it’s God’s place to judge and not ours.
And we never know what transpired the last hours or moments of His life.
We do know that he knew who Christ was from the many Gospel songs he performed.
And we can only hope that the sobering moments of his life brought him back to the foot of the cross.
But I’m not here to preach about Elvis, so let’s get back to Johnny.
By what I gather, Johnny was the brother that needed a little more attention the others at times and even more often a little more GRACE.
Isn’t Grace a beautiful thing?
What is grace?
I’m glad you asked.
Grace is unmerited favor.
Meaning you didn’t do anything to deserve it.
And we have all been given a measure of Grace as found in
