Eph 5:18
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Are you filled with the spirit of God? I mean right now! I know what you mean, “Yes I was filled back in 1991.” But are you filled now? “Yes I am a spirit filled believer!”
zb.. glass of water, filled and then emptied.. is this glass water filled? Yes or No? So are you a spirit filled believer or a half spirit filled believer or an empty believer?
Acts 1:4-5

5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

· WHY? Was this important? Didn’t they already have the Holy Spirit? John 20:22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

Isa 61:1-4
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.(Lk 4:18-29)
· The Church of Jesus Christ is a Spirit Baptised Church. Can we with all the evidence before us settle for a church that is not spirit filled? How can we do the works of God? How can we fulfill the call of God on our lives?
· We will never be a restoring, Building, raising up, repairing, joyful, beautiful, praising, preaching, proclaiming, releasing, comforting Church without the Holy Spirit!
*PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE TO BE FILLED THAT ARE NOT!*
· But are the people that are not spirit filled, are they saved? YES! But isn’t that all that is important? Not according to Jesus Christ, the founder of the Church! Acts 1:4…commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem!(The place of peace) until!!!!
John 14:26
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:7-15
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. 12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The Holy spirit will lead us along the way to the Father, The Holy spirit will tell us the truth about the Father, The Holy spirit will reveal the life of the Father
1. Where are we going? To the Father
2. How are we going to get there? Through Jesus
3. How do we know the Way? The Holy Spirit
1 Cor 2:9-3:3
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
