Revelation 17:1-
Revelation 17:1–5 NKJV
1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” 3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH
Here we see the earth right before the anit-Christ takes power.
Everyone is drunk!
How did they get drunk?
What are they drunk on?
If the Great Harlot made them drunk, how did she do it?
The cup!!!!
So, who is the Great Harlot?

KIAMNS (the 6 “the”’s and “all”’s)

THE Kings (17:2, 18:3)
THE Inhabitants (17:2)
THE Abominations (17:5)
THE Merchants (18:3, 18:11)
ALL the Nations deceived (18:23)
ALL who were Slain (18:24)
There’s only one possibility: The Harlot is: Everyone Else
Everyone who isn’t a true follower of Christ. All followers of Christ are NOT part of the Great Harlot.
We’d better take Jesus’s advice and come out of her or we will share in her sins and receive her plagues.
Why is everyone shown as “drunk”?
emethysthesan: to be or become stupefied or excited by alcohol
They are therefore “stupefied” or “excited” but we know it’s not alcohol that has made them drunk. It is the contents of the cup.
What does the cup contain?
How do I know that’s what made them drunk?
So, how could the enemy stupefy or excite the whole world with his own abomination, filthiness, and fornication? In order to affect you, it has to get in you. How could the enemy get these things in the whole world?
Who is included in the “whole world”?
How do we know we’re drunk? We adopt the enemy’s values.
The enemy’s values become things we defend and tolerate. We’re “stupefied” and “excited” about them.
Anger.
Anger over politics, race, immigration,
What does the Bible say about anger & wrath?
James 1:19–20 NKJV
19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 12:20 NKJV
20 For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and that I shall be found by you such as you do not wish; lest there be contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults;
,
Galatians 5:19–20 NKJV
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
1 John 2:11 NKJV
11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
1 John 3:15 NKJV
15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
1 John 4:20 NKJV
20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
1 Corinthians 13:1–3 NKJV
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Though I...
How have we all become okay with anger? Lust? Jealousy & Gossip?
We need to “go home.”
