Pray With All Prayer
Pray With All Prayer
We are to pray all kinds of prayers. We are to be thankful for what God allows into our lives. We are to pray prayers of worship as we mry editate on who He is. We are to lift up prayers on behalf of others that are struggling. We are to lift up our own struggles. We are to pray prayers of forgiveness of sin. We are to pray prayers of provision. Prayer is a necessity i n a Christians life.
There are no prayers that are off limits. God is bigger than anything that we can come to Him with. There are silent prayers, public prayers, private prayers, corporate prayers, and inner closet prayers. There are many types of prayers that we can lift up to the Father.
Pray all the Time
Pray all the Time
obviously this doesn’t mean that we are to continually be on our knees praying. Not even Jesus did this. What this means is that we are to be cognoscenti of God’s presence in our life all the time. when we go out into our day, we must realize that God is with us. When we face decisions we must look to the Lord for those decisions.
We are also to pray morning and night. I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience [a]the way my forefathers did, as I constantly remember you in my [b]prayers night and day, Paul knew what Timothy was going through at Ephesus and it was concerning to him. He lifted timothy up both morning and night to the Lord. There are people in our lives that we need to be concerned for and lift up day and night.
Our Christian maturity is based on our prayer lives. It is not how much Bible knowledge you have that determines your maturity, it is how much God knowledge you have through prayer that determines your maturity. The depth and time you spend with the Lord will mature your soul and prove your character as you live your life. When we don’t spend time in prayer our flesh typically runs rampant in our lives. Prayer is critical for Christian living.
Pray In the Spirit
Pray In the Spirit
This simply means that we are to pray the will of the Father. The Holy Spirit reveals the will of the Father and we are to pray His will. God will manifest His power in His will. All we have to do is ask for it. When we don’t know how to ask for the will of the Father, the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf.
In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; 27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the [a]saints according to the will of God.
There are times in our live that we are so weak that we cannot comprehend the will of the Father. it is in these times that the Holy Spirit makes groans on our behalf.
Pray For All the Saints
Pray For All the Saints
The saints are in spiritual warfare. We are to pray for their spiritual weaponry. They face battles every we are to pray for their victories in these battles. Often times we find ourselves praying for the physical needs of a person over their spiritual needs. There spiritual needs take precedent over their physical. This is because strongholds are being broken down and the saints are maturing in their faith
