Christ above the Angels!

Introduction:
The Ancient Hebrews were God’s chosen people who were given the knowledge of God and His heavenly dwelling. The Ancient Hebrews had a deep understanding of supernatural entities which include (but are not limited to) the Seraphim, Cherubim, Divine Counsel, Elders, and Angels. During the time that the book of Hebrews was written, Angelology was a key theological focus for the Jews. The church that the book of Hebrews was written to seems to have been elevating angels to the level of Christ. The author of Hebrews draws back to focus the supremacy of Christ above the angels, and how the reader must refocus their minds on Christ.
