I often have people make the statement to me that, “the Lord doesn’t hate” to which I have to reply that yes He most defiantly does hate.

There are some things that the Lord finds absolutely disgusting and literally abhors.

To think that the Lord does not hate is to have a bad misconception of the charter and nature of the Lord.

If our conception of the Lord is flawed then our discernment, discretion of right and wrong, good and bad will be in error.

The word of God states plainly on many separate occasions that there are certain things that the Lord defiantly hates.

*Pr 6:16-19*    16     These six /things/ the Lord hates,

     Yes, seven /are/ an abomination to 8Him:

17      A proud look,

     A lying tongue,

     Hands that shed innocent blood,

18     A heart that devises wicked plans,

     Feet that are swift in running to evil,

19     A false witness /who/ speaks lies,

     And one who  sows discord among brethren.
