Introduction

Las week we saw the casualness of discipleship. It seems from Jesus’ point of view that discipleship is very casual. Casually, Jesus is walking, looking, and asking them to follow him. But we also saw the radical reaction to Jesus’ invitation and that they reacted immediately. They leave their careers, family and go after Christ.
In this text, we see that Jesus is very intentional with His disciples. This causes some implications for us becase we are called to be disciples of Jesus and to disciple other people. If we do not understand clearly what discipleship is intentional, then we will fail because we will be waiting for it happen.

Jesus takes the initiative vs. 18, 19, and 23
