Moorehead Letter

From a letter from Gospel Broadcasting Mission and The Children’s Hour: Dec. 26, 1994.

Here at the start of another New Year, let me share these words from Bob Moorehead – minister of Overlake Christian Church in Kirkland, Washington.

“These are the best of times and the worst of times.  It is time to advance, not retreat.  A time for convulsive action, not business as usual.  It’s not a time to table motions, appoint committees, or do feasibility studies.  The enemy is not coming – he’s at the door!

“So it’s time to act, not just contemplate, time to lunge forward, not linger or limp along.  It’s time to stand up and be counted, time to speak, time to show your true colo9rs, time to be aggressive, on the offensive, moving forward.”

He had more to say – but you get the point.
