Miracles of Healing (Amplified Version)
Miracles of Healing (Amplified Version)
40 Now as Jesus was returning [to Galilee], the people welcomed Him, for they had all been expecting Him. 41 Now a man named Jairus, a synagogue official, came [to Him]; and he fell at Jesus’ feet and beganbegging Him to come to his house; 42 for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. But as Jesus went, the people were crowding against Him [almost crushing Him].
43 And a woman who had [suffered from] a hemorrhage for twelve years [e][and had spent all her money on physicians], and could not be healed by anyone, 44 came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His outer robe, and immediately her bleeding stopped. 45 Jesus said, “Who touched Me?” While they all were denying it, Peter [f][and those who were with him] said, “Master, the people are crowding and pushing against You!” 46 But Jesus said, “Someone did touch Me, because I was aware that power [to heal] had gone out of Me.” 47 When the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came up trembling and fell down before Him. She declared in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed. 48 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith [your personal trust and confidence in Me] has made you well. Go in peace (untroubled, undisturbed well-being).”
Reliance upon God or upon others. Dependence on God for help with spiritual and physical needs arises out of an awareness of human helplessness, though dependence may be wrongly directed. People may look to others for encouragement and support, but over-dependence is not commended.
An illness or other condition which prevents people or animals from achieving their full potential or adversely affects their abilities.
Introduction: How many believe that God has the power to Rescue, Heal, and Deliver.

-How many believe that God has the power to Rescue, Heal, and Deliver.
-How many believe that God has the power to Rescue, Heal, and Deliver.
- Oftentimes in our angst, quandary, and confusion - we do not know which one we need.
- We just know that we are in trouble, and “Anyway you Bless Me Lord - I’ll be Satisfied.”
We try to lift your hands and say Lord I trust you:
When Life has been strained, You’ve had ups and downs, Life seems tuned upside down.
It is an attitude of yielding or surrender of submission or obedience to the Lord I surrender to you.
Thesis:
Thesis:
If the truth be told, and to be honest with ourselves this surrender, submission, and obedience came only after we resigned to the fact that we could not do what we wanted or needed to to fix it. That it seemed impossible and that you were in a dying or dead situation. A hopeless predicament with no answer or end in sight.
These are the times when we get a true education as to who God is, and also the times when we recognize that we have matured in God and when we are growing/have grown.
Hook Yes living for Christ is a good life, BUT oftentimes life can take turns whereas you feel like the more I live for God - the more Satan/the enemy tries to tempt or destroy me, my family, my marriage, and assassinate my character. There used to be a song from the e--called Charlie Brown and in a deep baritone voice - the chorus or hook was "why is everybody always picking on me?!!!"
Conflict:
Conflict:
The reality of the matter is our best lessons have been learned in our brokenness, when you were at the end of your rope, when you felt like giving up, when you felt chained and bound, when you felt like there was nowhere to go and nowhere to turn, the red sea was before you and the pharaoh was behind you. The wilderness was hot by day and cold by night. Many of us found The Lord/accepted salvation in response to crisis and struggle. You found yourself at a point of surrender, trust, and submission when you recognized-The Lord is all I’ve got. My only hope.
I didn’t expect Him, But He Came By.
I didn’t expect him, But He Came on time.
I didn’t expect him. But He Came in when I needed him most.
The Lenton Season (Ash Wednesday, Lent Season, Resurrection Seasons)
The Lenton Season (Ash Wednesday, Lent Season, Resurrection Seasons)
Time of self inspection and evaluation with the purpose of intentionally growing closer toGod and stronger in your spiritual journey.
God is looking for some folks who will reconcile with themselves and with their past.
This may not be on your list of to-do because it requires honesty that you have issues.
Well, we have have issues or something. The church is a community of believers.
The church is a hospital, where the sick come to be healed, and to be made whole.
The Woman
The Woman
Has lost her identity.
She has no name.
Has lost her family.
Imagaine what it feels to live life with oppression although -She was born to be free.
But for twelve years, she has been stricken with an issue of blood.
Jairius (A parellel narrative taking place simultaneously)
Jairius (A parellel narrative taking place simultaneously)
A synagogue ruler, a leader in the temple, a deacon in the church, a Trustee, an armor bearer.
A man that is to know and trust the Bible and the law.
He runs to Jesus because his child, his young chid, a child 12years old is stricken and near death. Jesus can you come by my house?
Point: I’m glad that Jesus Makes House Calls
- Neighbor if you learn to shout in this house -
Who got a sick house? A sick child? A sick marriage?
And I’m glad that it doesn’t matter where you live . i.e, He doesn’t just go to the suburbs, but he goes to the ghetto, not just the city, but he goes into the country.
Somebody got something in your life that’s on life support.
And if Jesus don’t get there -it’s going to die!
Somebody out to be honest and tell your neighbor - Neighbor, i didn’t come here to look cute, but I need Jesus to go by my house.
It’s been twelve years
It’s been twelve years
She’s seen every doctor she could see. She’s seen Dr. Phil, Oprah Life Class, Iyanla Fix My Life.
But her illness kept getting worse.
But if you can learn to praise him in the worst of times, then God knows that He can trust you in your best days! My Best is yet to come.
I just need a few people who have grown up enough to admit that:
I just need a few people who have grown up enough to admit that:
“I don’t have to wait until I get money in my pocket, or a boo in my life
- but I can shout right where I am
Because where I am is not my destiny -it’s just part of my itinerarry.
You can be honest and tell somebody:
You can be honest and tell somebody:
This is as jacked up as I’ll ever look,
This is as messed up as I get,
But this is not who I am,
But It’s just a stop in route to my destiny! I’mon my way somewhere.
Twelve Years
Twelve Years
She did the same old thing and expected to get a different result.
Same issue. Same old people. Same old thing.
Same old channel. Same old story.
Somebody got some issues in here today that you have never shared with anybody else.
Because you know that your issues would be onCNN, CBS, ESPN, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and WhatsApp.
But I’m glad that I’m covered. God covered my issues, and Grace covered me!

Tell your neighbor - Your Sitting Next to A Survivor:
Tell your neighbor - Your Sitting Next to A Survivor:
If you’ve ever survived anything in your life - come on and open up your mouth and give God the praise!
Somebody needs to know that there is no secret to what God can do!
Today, I’m about to bury some stuff. Today I’ve got to let some stuff go. We normally don’t shout at funerals, but today somebody ought to praise him because out of death - came life! i.e, Dearly beloved we have gathered her for home-going, ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
When she tocuhed Jesus her issue died.
When she tocuhed Jesus her issue died.
Somebody needs to touch him this morning:
Can somebody touch him with your praise?
Can somebody touch him with your dance?
Can somebody touch him with your holla?
