Mom, I need help.
Ok! I will be there in just a minute.
I need help. I am stranded on the side of the road.
No problem. I will be there in 10 minutes.
There is a solution to this vague time frame. This solution is unlike any other, so we have to come up with another word- “farclose”
When you speak or hear this word you will never be more encouraged and discouraged at the same time.
This is what this phrase means.
When you say farclose to your child’s cry for help, it means that you are 186, 282 miles away (the discouraging part) and you are already there helping them.
If you are up on your science facts, you may recognize that that is the speed of light in one second. At this speed one could travel around the earth 7.5 times in one second.
The distance away makes things look bleak and impossible. It is that recognition that makes help so close.
For the child of God, I think it can become a word that we regularly use to the question: How are you doing?
So what is farclose? Should one long to stay in in it? Is there a way out of it?
