During its interim period one congregation I visited displayed in its sanctuary two important reminders.  On the left front wall of the sanctuary were the words “Change is Inevitable” and on the right front wall above the pulpit the words “Growth is Optional.”  What a healthy and hopeful reminder of the congregation’s opportunities during the in-between times.
