How to Connect

CITP: Jesus is the one that makes the connection to our hearts, it has nothing to do with us.

CISP: Jesus goal was to connect us to Him, others, and lost people

P: Kid will understand our job is to love people to Jesus.

SM -

1) Have you ever been the new student or had a new student in your class?

2) Have you ever felt really embarrassed at school?

3) How should we feel when we come to church?

We - have lots of different places in life that we go, home, school, church, store, sports…at some point you were new and then you made friends to become part of the group.

ILL - Growing up in youth…window to God

T.S. - Is it my job to tell others what they are doing wrong?

Bible -

John 4:28–29 NLT

The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?”

P: Kid will understand our job is to love people to Jesus.

P: Kids will understand that when they realize what they are doing is wrong and they choose God. They are growing in God.

ILL -

You – your job isn’t to tell people how wrong they are. Our job is to love friends with an excitement of a love for Jesus. When you welcome friends into your group you become a window to connecting someone to God.
