The Branch of the Lord
The Messiah of the LORD
There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,
And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,
“That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness;
A King shall reign and prosper,
And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.
‘In those days and at that time
I will cause to grow up to David
A Branch of righteousness;
He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.

He placed a tower in it to protect
He built a winepress for the expected grapes
His expectations were disappointed
got wild grapes instead of good grapes
The Lord calls Judah and Jerusalem to evaluate His parable
The Lord reveals what He will do in response to the vine producing wild grapes
