Even as we are confronted with death on an increasing level every day we can be assured and comforted that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ. (Romans 8:31-39)
For His goodness we praise Him more and more (Vs 14,22,23,24)
Because God has been faithful to His Word, because He will not change, because He is our redeemer in Christ, we will praise Him. We can wake up and go about our day with joy because God also gives us the strength we need every day. We can be confident that He will uphold us and comfort us as we deal with suffering and sorrow. He is everything we need.
“Whom do I have in heav'n but Thee? Who shall on earth my refuge be? Since I have Thee as rock and Saviour, I seek no further wealth or favour. Although my flesh and heart may fail, God is my strength, I shall prevail, For He, whose steadfast love is sure, Will be my portion evermore.”
