We all know what we are remembering and celebrating this coming weekend.
We are celebrating the empty tomb.
Remembering that Jesus came to this earth and allowed Himself to be crucified, killed, put in a grave.
He did all of this for love.
He has victory over sin and death!
Why is the empty tomb and the resurrection so important to us?
Then
Through the resurrection proves God’s power!
He is the very one who created us, gave us life.
And it is only through Him can we have life again once we die.
Once the resurrection happened there could be no doubt that everything Jesus said was true.
Son of God. - True
Would die for our sins.
- True
Would rise again on the 3rd day.
- true
Would ascend to heaven to make an eternal home for us and to be at the right hand of His Heavenly Father.
Now that the tomb is empty, your heart can be full!
