The greatest words to man are—Christ Is Risen! Many thought death was the end of Christ and His ministry. However, He rose from the dead as He promised. Forty days after His resurrection He ascended into heaven.

A. We have Salvation . With salvation comes a complete change in our outlook. tells us: "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

B. Jesus is our Sustainer. Not only does he save us from sin He keeps us from falling away from Him. “Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.”

A. We are to follow God by Practicing our faith. tells us: “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Though we can’t see God we must believe in Him. says, “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”

A. The provision. Christ’s death brought life to mankind. “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”

B. The promise. By believing in Christ we pass from death to life. Faith in Christ means we will not stand with the condemned at judgment. John tells us in , “I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.”

C. And Lastly, The plan. Man must be willing to abandon wickedness and trust in Christ. In the book of Isaiah in the OT He tells us.... 7“Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously"
C. And Lastly, The plan. Man must be willing to abandon wickedness and trust in Christ. Well, you have just heard the story of Jesus. Not really of His life or his death but the story of a promise that we have when we know Him, have faith in Him, when we trust in Him. AMEN… Happy Easter.
