I remember hearing a then prominent head of state say that promises are "like pie crusts, made to be broken." Such is farthest from God's view. When we promise, He expects us to follow through and keep it. "I WOULD be true" expresses an intention. "I WILL be true" is a promise. This includes promises we make to God AND promises we make to one another. We can depend on God's promises; but what about ours? Are we true at all levels? How does this affect us at home, on the job, or driving our car? Listen to learn more about taking your promises above--far above--the pie crust level.
