5. Experience of the Holy Spirit
6. What will you do with Jesus? What are your objections?
Consider praying this prayer. Through a simple prayer, you can join the family of
God and be assured of eternal life. If you are ready to experience an abundant,
meaningful life, we encourage you to offer this prayer to the Lord:
Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner, and I choose to turn
from my sin right now. I am thankful that you are
my Savior. I believe you can forgive my sin and make
me a new person. I commit myself into your hands.
Please come into my heart and give me the eternal
life you promised.
Amen.
1. The Paschal Greeting
2. Gospel John 20:1-18
3. Initial Thoughts on the Resurrection
How to know if you are in an orthodox Christian church/within orthodoxy as a
leader?
4. Evidences of resurrection and some of the earliest deniers…
Boyd on trying to get around the resurrection
+If we are serious and curious we need to wrestle with three things:
(4.1) Identify our biases – no one is truly objective – being honest about that will
help you actually learn new things!
(4.2) Internal Evidence: (1) honesty, (2) irrelevant details, (3) harmony, (4) public
extraordinary claims, (5) motivation or lack of it for fabrication.
We are finalizing a location and time for a late spring/early summer baptism service. If you are following Christ please follow his instructions and be baptized as
a public confession/announcement of your faith.
