John 20:
But one of the Twelve, Thomas (called “Twin”), was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples kept telling him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them, “If I don’t see the mark of the nails in His hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will never believe!”
After eight days His disciples were indoors again, and Thomas was with them. Even though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them. He said, “Peace to you!”
Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and observe My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Don’t be an unbeliever, but a believer.”
Thomas responded to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
Jesus said, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed. Those who believe without seeing are blessed.”
Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of His disciples that are not written in this book. But these are written so that you may believe Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and by believing you may have life in His name.

Dealing with Doubt
Dealing with Doubt
1. Denial in Doubt (v. 24-25)
1. Denial in Doubt (v. 24-25)
We find Thomas in an a bit of a disagreement with the other disciples about the resurrection of Christ.
Jesus had met with the disciples while Thomas was out at a (baseball tournament) or (maybe he had work) but either way, he missed Jesus when He showed up in the upper room with the disciples.
He missed Church and that particular day, He missed Christ too.
The disciples took it upon themselves to convince Thomas that Jesus was alive and well, but Thomas was a stubborn one. He didn’t care what his best friends were telling him. The only thing that was going to convince him was the Man himself.
In verse 25 the word “telling” or “told”, which is translated from the Greek, appears in imperfect tense. Meaning that the disciples, kept on telling Thomas.
I can relate to Thomas because there are times in my own life where the people of God have told me of certain ways that God has worked in their life, and because it is too big for my tiny mind to wrap itself around, I immediately discredit what they say or try to come up with a rational reason for it to happen.
Thomas was filled with skeptesism
19 prophesies are fulfilled within the cross and 3 days following.
