In the Beginning
In the Beginning
God created Adam and Eve because he is love!
But they were deceived by the serpent.
The enemy attacked their identity, and they questioned God’s plan.
The serpent deceived them into thinking that it was ok to disobey God because He was just trying to hold them back from knowledge.
The serpent used his persuasion to steal from them.
The serpents plans are still the same today! There is nothing new.
He Abdicated the Throne
He Abdicated the Throne
It’s obvious, of course, that he didn’t go to all this trouble for angels. It was for people like us, children of Abraham.
That’s why he had to enter into every detail of human life. Then, when he came before God as high priest to get rid of the people’s sins,
he would have already experienced it all himself—all the pain, all the testing—and would be able to help where help was needed.
Jesus left his throne because people had no hope, they were living in a world that was never going to get better without any power to make it better.
Watch out for the Esau syndrome: trading away God’s lifelong gift in order to satisfy a short-term appetite.
You well know how Esau later regretted that impulsive act and wanted God’s blessing—but by then it was too late, tears or no tears.
Unlike your ancestors, you didn’t come to Mount Sinai—all that volcanic blaze and earthshaking rumble—
They were living in a world that was full of total loss!
Jesus left his throne and became man to make a better covenant with man. A winning covenant!

It is finished
When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
Jesus did it! He Won!
Can you see it?
Yes we have trouble here on the earth, but there is not a bit of trouble that Jesus did not overcome!
Maybe we got ourselves into trouble, but He is still there for you.
We have a seat next to Jesus!
We have a seat next to Jesus!
Where did He Go?
Where did He Go?
Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah.
Mary finds and empty tomb
What Jesus did is so hard to comprehend sometimes! How could anyone lay down his life for us, be crucified, then welcome the very people who crucified Him to sit next to Him as royalty!
JESUS NEVER GAVE UP ON US!
He appears later in the upper room.

We Have Won
We Have Won
All He is asking from you is to just believe.
When Jesus was resurrected from the dead he was declared the victor.
