What is my purpose in this life?
These questions — or something similar — hang around the necks of the people of this world.
Well, our theme this morning is, “Life Now Has Meaning.”
We are going to talk about the origins of the meaninglessness of life with which we struggle, along with how Christ Jesus gives meaning to our life.
You see,
CHRIST’S RESURRECTION GIVES PURPOSE TO OUR LIFE IN THIS WORLD!
But before Christ enters our life we have a problem:

Christ's resurrection gives purpose to our life in this world.
In His name we proclaim repentance and forgiveness of sin to all people Life is no longer meaningless, because “He is not here; He is risen!

By the worlds standards we ultimately die, but we fall asleep
By the worlds standards we ultimately die, but
Death no longer needs to be feared
Just like we relish a good nights sleep, so in death we merely sleep waiting for Jesus to wake us in the resurrection.
Before Christ came we were all under the realm of Adam and therefore all die.
But now that Christ has come, died and rose again, all will be made alive!
