The world was transfixed by the fire in the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. Almost immediately there was an outpouring of support, of sympathy for the damage to this world heritage site, and dollars - over a billion within hours of the fire.
There were also all kinds of lessons being drawn from it. Christians created the cathedral. It speaks to our faith valuing the body and spirit as important and real.
