In 2019, churches in America stand to lose at least $30 million. Why? Because many people give their tithes and offerings digitally. You might think that 100 % of your gift is going to the church.

(However, if you give $100 from your credit card, the church is charged processing fees averaging $3.29 . So only 96.71 actually goes to the church.

The Denver Church of Christ paid over $14,000 in credit card fees last year alone. Maybe you are thinking there must be a better way to do this?

Isn’t there a way to give digitally, that 100% goes to the church?

There is and that is why we are switching to a new giving platform powered by RebelGive! We want everyone to feel confident that 100% of your gift to the Denver Church of Christ is going to the Church!

We want to take the time to simply say thank you! Thank you for helping the church meet our vision of connecting every generation of every community to God and to one another.

Because you gave, our church can continue to support the work of spreading Jesus locally and around the world.

With this new plan, you will have the choice of giving with your credit card or directly from your bank account.

If you choose to pay with a credit card, a 1.9% convenience fee will be added to your online gift. So, for a $100 gift, you would cover $1.90 and the church receives $100 without having to pay anything.

(Previously, we would pay $3.29 for each $100 gift). If you don’t want to cover that fee, you can give directly from your bank account for only 25 cents! If you don’t want to pay 25 cents, you can still write a check. 😊

We understand that switching plans is difficult. Our goal and hope is that we will be able to stick with this plan for a very long time. For anyone who switches to this new plan and sets up recurring giving in the next 2 weeks (by May 12), will be entered into a contest for a $100 gift card to a local restaurant.
