Show that you are listening with your non verbals
Don’t use logic to over power feelings.
Don’t debate

Don’t speak negatively or complain about your spouse to friends
Avoid uninviting or distant body language
Never try to win
Never Yell, use put-downs, or verbally defame your spouse
Never withhold physical intimacy or use sex to manipulate
