Who is James? This is probably Jesus’ half brother, there is the James the son of Zebedee but he was killed in acts 12:2
He was stoned to death by the scribes and Pharisees for not renouncing his commitment to Jesus. He was the first bishop of Jerusalem and was given the title the righteous of the just because of his faithfulness to the law and constancy in prayer.
