1 John 2:15–16 NASB95
15 Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

Beware, the many media influences of the world today.

A. In commercials today sex, and sexuality sells. (Lust of the Flesh)
B. Constantly being told by the media what you have is never enough. (lust of the Eyes) (things we really don’t need)
Infomercials that tell us we can be rich, and everyone will love us. (boastful pride of life)

Beware, of the temporal it could have eternal consequences.
