Text

Jeremiah 31:3 KJV 1900
The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: Therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Introduction

“…groan within ourselves...”
Romans 8:23 KJV 1900
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Illustration: A bride on her wedding day - She begins her day with pictures and people all the while smiling through the exhaustion that will eventually climax in the ceremony she has been waiting for. As a bride on her wedding day awaits her eventual union with her groom so we are waiting for an eventual and certain union with Christ.
