This is Not A Dream!

20And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

21But Jehovah was with Joseph, and showed kindness unto him, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

22And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

23The keeper of the prison looked not to anything that was under his hand, because Jehovah was with him; and that which he did, Jehovah made it to prosper.

This is not a fairy Tale!

Have you ever been in a place in your life that it just didn’t seem real.

Like the circumstance that currently surround you are like a dream and just can’t be real.

This has got to be a bad dream and in just moments you will wake up.

Or this is a good practical joke set up by some of your friends and family and you are waiting for the hidden cameras to come out from hiding and Ashton Kusher to yell out you just got punked!!!!!

Only to realize this is not a joke!!

This is not a dream, this is not a drill, this is real life and the things you are about to witness and experience are real.

Never would have thought that the current characters would play these star roles that they are playing in this season of your life.

Never would have thought that being gifted, special or anointed would cause so much up roar and trouble.

This is not the life I had in mind for myself.

I had other plans but right in the mist of it all God came and snatched me up and introduced himself to me in a real way.

I responded to the call not knowing what to expect but willing to take a chance at the unknown.

Later to find out that I would be hated for wanting better.

Why do people make you feel guilty for wanting better.

Why do you get put down for trying to do better for yourself.

At some point you have to rise above the deck of cards that the world has set for you, what people have decided you are going to be,

and how far you will go in life.

At some point you have to realize that God has more for you!!!!!

Somebody holler more.

Sometimes when you are angry you just have to scream because that is the only expression of the emotions that are built up on the inside, and because you can’t hit, punch cuss or kick the person that got you so upset you just have to scream!!!!! Be so mad that tears start rolling down your face.

Its the same way, when God has put so much in you, so many gifts ideas dreams and visions but you have had to surpress them because people either don’t receive you or steal what God has given you so you keep it all bottled up on the inside, not realizing that you are just one idea, one text or one post away from something great in your life.

Somebody need to decree and declare in this house that there is so much more that is on the inside of me and it my season of More!!!!!!! More!!!!! More!!!!!!!!

Slap somebody close to you and say more!!!!!!!!

I never thought I would have to fight because i’m favored!

Oh God the light just clicked on.

This is a spiritual fight, and the Only reason i’m even having to fight is because i’m favored.

Push your seat mate and tell them “I get it now, I’m fighting because Im favored”

I come to tell somebody don’t stop fighting, because the fight is fixed!!!

You are favored!!!!!!

How did Joseph get to this Place?

8And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us?

And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

9And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed yet a dream: and, behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars made obeisance to me.

Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

Thrown In the Pit- Stripped of the coat- The Dreamer is Coming!

18And they saw him afar off, and before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.

19And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.

20Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into one of the pits, and we will say, An evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

21And Reuben heard it, and delivered him out of their hand, and said, Let us not take his life.

22And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood; cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, but lay no hand upon him: that he might deliver him out of their hand, to restore him to his father.

23And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stripped Joseph of his coat, the coat of many colors that was on him; 24and they took him, and cast him into the pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.

Joseph brothers sell him into slavery

26And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother and conceal his blood?

27Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother, our flesh.

And his brethren hearkened unto him.

28And there passed by Midianites, merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites for twenty pieces of silver.

And they brought Joseph into Egypt.

Joseph in Potiphar’s house- enslaved and blessed!

39 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh’s, the captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hand of the Ishmaelites, that had brought him down thither.

2And Jehovah was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

3And his master saw that Jehovah was with him, and that Jehovah made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

4And Joseph found favor in his sight, and he ministered unto him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.

5And it came to pass from the time that he made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that Jehovah blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake;

Wratched wife- Anytime God Has more The Devil starts tripping!

7And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.

8But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master knoweth not what is with me in the house, and he hath put all that he hath into my hand: 9he is not greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back anything from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God

Which now lands us at our text, This is not a dream!

This is not a fairy tail, this is your life on trail.

The process to the promise, the beauty for the ashes.

The making of a man of valor, the press of a virtuous woman.

I cant run from the process even though it wants to make me scream!!!!

I know who I am and who’s I am but every time I make two steps forward seems like Im thrown 20 steps back.

When will I get ahead, when will I walk in what I know is in me.

When Will It come out of me, When will it manifest!!!!! MORE!!! God I know its MORE!!! Somebody holler MORE MORE!!!!!

I posses MORE, Im worth MORE, I See MORE, Touch three people and decree and declare MORE!!!!!!!!!

The process to more now lies in the ability to go through what you don’t deserve, to be able to walk in what you didn’t earn.

You don’t deserve the pain, but you have to develop the passion to maintain the press in the process.

Without pain, there-in lies no passion, without passion there is no grit to be able to press through the un-deserved process leading to the Promised.

My more now, is my motivation that makes me press through the process.

As a result of me trusting God in my process something called Favor shows its face.

Webster Defines Favor as:

an act of kindness beyond what is due or usual.

I speak unusual favor over my life in the name of Jesus.

Unusual Favor!!!

19And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled.

20And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

21But Jehovah was with Joseph, and showed kindness unto him, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

22And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

23The keeper of the prison looked not to anything that was under his hand, because Jehovah was with him; and that which he did, Jehovah made it to prosper.

The Butler and the Baker of Pharaoh offended Pharaoh and were thrown into the same prison were Joseph was lock up.

The text tell us now, that Joseph discerns that the Baker and the Butler had something heavy on them and asked them what was wrong.

Bondage does not stop the gift from working.

Location does not change the call but process develops the faith needed to maintain the favor!!!!

Its in verse 20 that the story takes a twist!

Somebody say: “Im positioned for an Upgrade!”

20And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and the head of the chief baker among his servants.

21And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand: 22but he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.

23Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.

The butler is going to bless me!
