RELATIONSHIP: THE LOVE WITHIN THE BODY OF CHRIST.
PROPOSITION; --> Last week the Apostle John made it clear that there are two distinct ways of life that he helps us to identify.
The one who practices righteousness, or the one who practices sin.
And that these two lives manifest themselves to be either a child of God or the devil.
>>>John also stated:
10 In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
If we recieved Christ and yet don’t love our brother we abide in death, In other words, we are no better off than we were before Christ.
But to hate, like Cain, even to hold that inside, well, because you don’t want to suffer the consequence of murder, you cannot hide before Gods eyes.
The New King James Version Chapter 3
4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.
And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
>>>so through lawlessness we learned that...
Love is others centered
***“Sin is not only the act or thought of what's being committed, but the act of flagrant defiance of the known will of God all for the will of self.”***
>>>John declared that this was the reason that Jesus was manifested >>>
