What is Deception and Deceit?

Apate - to cheat or give a false impression of something.

To beguile (Eve said of the Serpent in the garden of Eden the serpent hath beguiled me and I did eat.

The phrase in , “deceitful lusts,”

Dolos - a bait, craft, deceit, stealth, ensnare.

The root of deceit is to lead astray.

Deception’s core or root or purpose is to lead you astray.

One is led astray by someone who handles to truth loosely.

It is important to deal honestly with the truth.

Self deception

sin deceives

false teachers deceive

riches can deceive.

What is truth?

It is verity, it is real, genuine.

It is accurate and absolute.

It can be verified as such.

God is declared to be true.

28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.

Truth is that which, God reveals as He is the establisher of all and is exact and precise in what he establishes.

I wish, I had time to speak of the truth of our quote universe, of how exact it is and how enormous it is and God had set it in place and it will do as He hath designed.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also .

Let GOD be true and know that NASA is a deceiver not God.

I wish I had time to speak to you of the absolute glorious wonder that is our human bodies.

How magnificent it is and detailed and exact it is and how created it with the capacity to live forever, it is the most efficient electro-magnetic bio-mechanical factory that science has every seen and struggle to understand.

Just our metabolic pathway is so complete that our smartest doctors and scientists with multiple advanced degrees struggle to understand how it works, how our bodies use food to fuel our cells to keep us functioning.

God’s word has declared we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

If we would seek the true God instead of lying doctors our health would be better.

Understand because of sin we live in a fallen world and world that no longer operates on the truth that God established, so man is broken and wicked.

But there is hope and help.

This Hope and help is in Jesus.

I can help lead you to Him but you have to bow yourself to Him to receive truth.

Characteristics of our age.

We live is a deceitful age.

Our politicians play fast and loose with the truth.

Yet we believe them more than we believe God.

They have us fighting against each other while they line their pockets, prevent and pervert justice and play baseball together as close friends do.

We fight over Obama and Trump as if either want a good outcome for us.

But the truth is they only serve themselves.

There God is there bellies.

We argue over a flat earth or a round earth, over white Jews and black Jews, over being democrats and being republicans.

Over who Putin helped or hurt these are a few of the things that prove we are in the age of deception.

We are told we came from monkeys and/or from single celled dumb organisms that over millions years learned to walk upright and talk.

We live in a age of deceit.

Now a man can be a woman and a woman a man or a tree, a dog a cat, a bat and if you speak the truth this age will very quickly begin to lock you away.

We live in an age of deceit.

4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

How to age

What is the power behind the deceivers?

This world’s ungodly wise ones.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever.

This is what was sown on the side of the path.

7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess Jesus Christ coming in the flesh.

This person is the deceiver and the antichrist!

Mark 12:24
