Jesus is alive

John 20:19–22 KJV 1900
Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

Peter - fisherman, natural leader Brave yet lacked faith - denied Jesus yet came to repentance & served him boldly wrote 1st and 2nd peter
James son of Zebedee - fisherman, Herod the king killed James with the sword, surnamed Boanerges-sons of thunder
John- Fisherman, son of Zebedee, Boanerges - sons of thunder, Healing&preaching wrote , , John, Revelation, exiled to the isle of Patmos, took care of Mary mother of Jesus Peter, James, John witnessed the transfiguration
Andrew - First called(protokletos) fisherman, son of jona, Brother of Simon Peter, Disciple of John the Baptist, witnessed Jesus being taken up into heaven
Philip - brought Bartholomew-Nathaniel to Jesus of Bethsaida city of Andrew & Peter Jesus tested Philip at the feeding of the Multitude
Bartholomew - Nathanael - cana of Galilee saw him sitting under a fig tree, Jesus told him he was an honest Israelite - told Jesus he was the son of God & king of Israel when he called him
Matthew - Levi - tax collector, son of Alphaeus, capernaum, wrote Matthew, Matthew from Hebrew means gift of God, left tax collecting to follow Jesus, Matthew invited Jesus to eat with him & his friends
Thomas - Twin(Didymus) carpenter ?, Doubting thomas, encouraged the disciples to go with Jesus that they may die with him, Doubted Jesus resurrection would have to touch the wounds to believe
James son of Alphaes - James the Less, Jesus appeared to him after the resurrection
Thaddaeus - Jude - Judas - son of James, asked Jesus how he would reveal himself to his followers and not the world
Simon the Zealot - Zelotes, Canaanite,a Zealot, that is, (specifically) partisan for Jewish political independence: - Zelotes.
Judas Iscariot - treasurer Judas betrayed Jesus, Judas was replaced by Matthias
